Draft. The text must be reviewed by a lawyer before publication.

This document describes what data the service collects during an exchange, why it is needed, how long it is kept and what rights the client has.

1.What data is collected

An exchange without registration needs only the recipient address and the order parameters. This data is required to execute the exchange and to confirm it if the client contacts support.

  • Order parameters: pair, amounts, rate, addresses, transaction hashes.
  • An email address — if the client has created an account.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and the browser marker described under “Cookies and localStorage”.
  • Verification documents — only if verification was required.

2.How the data is used

The data is used to execute orders, support clients, meet anti-money-laundering requirements and protect the service from abuse.

The data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

3.Retention periods

Order data is kept for the period required by applicable law. Account data is kept until the client deletes the account.

4.Cookies and localStorage

The service uses cookies and the browser’s local storage to run the interface and to link the orders placed from one browser. No advertising or tracking cookies are set, and nothing is shared with third parties.

  • theme — the light or dark theme, kept in localStorage.
  • equyou.visitor — a random marker generated in your browser and attached to the orders you place. It lets support connect your orders when you exchange without an account. It carries no personal data, and clearing site data removes it.

5.Client rights

The client may request information about their data, its correction or its deletion, to the extent that this does not conflict with the service’s obligation to retain records of operations.

Requests are sent to support from the email address given in the account.
